Paint Pour Classes!

Paint Pour classes are back!  Join us twice per month as we paint our way through the Crystal Kingdom.  Victoria Stoerzinger is a local artist and artisan who has been teaching at Akasha's Journey for the last three years.  

Gleaning inspiration from the vast beauty of the Crystal Kingdom, every month we choose a different stone to recreate using acrylic paints, beads, crystals, and resin. 

These classes are done in two parts, one week apart.  During the first class, the painting technique for that month's project is taught.  Those paintings are left in the shop to dry,  The following week in the second class, we add details with paint pens, glitter, and crystal beads that have been chosen for that project.  Once the embellishments have been placed and the glue dries, we pour a layer of epoxy resin.  Then that gets another several days to dry.  Once everything has dried completely, students can take their artwork home to display.
