This class is available in person or online.
Learn in depth how to to use crystals in multiple aspects of healing. You will be taught how crystals work, what applications to use them in, and contra-indications. You will learn about each stone we use, and also delve very deeply into the Chakra system.
Students will learn how to handle and use healing crystals safely, how to make gem elixirs, how to perform client intake, and how to use science and intuition in this modality. Homework assignments are given every week to reinforce class materials.
During the internship, students will gain confidence by offering healing sessions to the community in our Healing By Donation program.
Upon completion of class requirements, assignments, and internship, students will be awarded their Practitioner Certification.

Akasha's Journey is thrilled to teach "The Science & Art of Herbalism Course" featuring time honored curriculum by Rosemary Gladstar. Considered by many to be one of the finest study courses on herbalism available in this country, The Science & Art of Herbalism offers a comprehensive overview of herbalism and prepares the student to competently and effectively use herbs for home health care. It’s an excellent introduction for the beginner/intermediate herbalism student and for people interested in using herbs for personal health care for their families and friends. If you are planning to become an herbalist and an herbal practitioner, this course provides the foundation and the basic knowledge needed. For the more advanced student, it provides an excellent review and a solid foundation upon which to build their own studies. In this 10-lesson course plus you will learn all of the basics of herbalism from hands on preparation and medicine making to plant identification and hundreds of herbal recipes for health and healing. Herbalism is for everyone interested in self-health, well being and healing and is easy for everyone to learn The Lessons are designed to provide practical, hands-on experience with each assignment designed to enrich your personal experience with the plant world.
REGISTRATION ENDS December 31, 2024 Your Cost $1150 + $350 non refundable deposit for a total of $1500.
The cost includes: all instruction, materials (Rosemary's core curriculum, herbs, jars, bottles, more), correspondence course ($425 value), class time, hands-on herbal labs, correction of all homework, a certificate from Sage Mountain signed by Rosemary Gladstar upon completion. The wait is over! Tuning Fork Healing is back! Level 1 is the first in a series of Sound Healing classes where we will learn the effects of sound waves on the body, mind, & spirit.
Tuning Forks can be used alone or in combined with other healing modalities. They combine well with Western Medicine, and amplify and/or enhance all forms of healing energy work.
Cost of the class series is $350 & requires pre-registration & a non-refundable deposit of $150 per person no later than 6/15 so that materials can be ordered.
Each student will receive a workbook, hand outs, a tuning fork set, striker, & test materials. There will be written homework exercises as well as practical hands-on requirement for certification.
This modality involves the use of a variety of different tuning forks in a typical healing session.
Sound waves are used to affect many systems of the physical body as well as brain waves and even our electromagnetic fields. Studies have shown that wound and vibration can even cause nerves to regenerate. Tuning Forks can be used on people, animals, plants, and minerals, and there is no age limit to who can benefit from them.

We teach Level 2 Reiki as a 3 week class with a required internship of giving approximately 12 Reiki healing sessions.
We will meet weekly for 7 classes.
Level 2 - 3 Classes, 1 attunement plus internship
Reiki Level II is all about learning how to give Reiki to others when they are present and also from a distance. At this level, students learn about proper hand placement, energy field scanning, how to properly perform client intake, the importance of obtaining permission from a client, and practitioner ethics. Students will be required to participate in a 4 week internship offering Reiki by donation to the local community, and will be directly supervised by their Reiki Master.
The cost for this class includes all written materials.
